Which devices does she run on?
iPhones with 8 GB of memory (iPhone 15 Pro and later) and Macs with Apple silicon. More memory lets her use bigger, smarter models.
Is she as smart as the big cloud chatbots?
Not for everything. Models small enough to run on a phone are very good at writing, conversation, explaining and everyday questions, but the largest cloud models still know more. The trade is that Louise is private, offline and yours.
Can anyone read my conversations?
No. They're stored on your device, encrypted, and never sent to us. We have no server that could see them.
How big are the downloads?
The app is small. Each model is a one-time download of roughly 1 to 3 GB on iPhone, and larger on the Mac if you choose a bigger model.
